A: Teacher assistant at North Wilkes High School. I had a passion to work with at risk youth because I was one.

Q: If you could go back and give yourself advice as a high school student, what advice would you give and why. What
advice would you give to high school students today?
A: Have more focus on life and education. Be a better student and friend. Steer clear of trouble and friends who was not
good to be around. Stay away from the party scene. Nothing but negativity comes from the so called good times of
partying. And number one thing, listen to advice from the ones who care about you family friends teachers etc.

Q: Do you have a special memory from your time at North?
A: I felt special when Coach (Jamie) Adams would share my work in front of the class boosting my self-esteem. Coach Jeff
Peal also impacted me while I was a student with encouraging talks. I really enjoyed playing intramurals.

Q: How has your NWHS education and experiences positively impacted your life?
A: It began to mold me into the person I needed to be. It was the beginning stage of becoming a compassionate and
caring person I am today. I am now a teacher assistant at the school (North Wilkes High School) that encouraged me to
succeed.
