Q: How has your NWHS education and experiences positively impacted your life?
A: I had Mrs. Diane Swaim as my English teacher the first semester of my senior year. She was a tremendous teacher and I was captivated by the way she taught us Greek Mythology. She required our class to turn in a journal each week, and we could write about anything. Towards the end of the year I was going through a very difficult situation and wrote about it in my journal. Her positive comments gave me the courage to face that situation and have continued to help me throughout life during some difficult times.

Q: Any additional information about family, career, etc you would like to share?
A: My daughter, Andrea Nicole Moose, recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from UNC Pembroke with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Management. She is the first one in three generations of our family to graduate from college.
