person would be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful place in the foothills of North Carolina located near Stone Mountain State Park North Wilkes High School is the pride and joy of this rural community or School Community is composed of teachers on like no other school that I've been at they are compassionate and care about the success of every student on our campus I've been here 28 years and I've had opportunities to leave but this is a great place great place for students come to learn and say find Environment the new principal at North High Viking pride is and what it takes to achieve the level of success people expect first and foremost she cares about North High as a graduate of North High I know that she wants nothing but the best for North High that staff for North High that students from North High she is very concerned about how the school fit in the community and building those bridges and stronger ties with the community and our district have a lot to offer for students academically we offer many college courses many students can leave our high school with updos 30 college credit we offer a lot of Hands-On classes if school is just completely different because it has a few things that people can do and learn and Maze. Have that try to develop strategies and Implement programs that will make sure our students are successful we strive to have small class sizes so that we can get to know our student I think one thing that's unique about North is that we do get to know our students very well with a variety of sports programs academic and Social Clubs there's plenty of opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom we have something to offer all students we have many clubs we have several clubs that have very strong student leaders and teacher leaders the first one was on the Dream Team so this is at that's composed of students who are successful academically and athletically they have to participate in multiple Sports yearly they have to meet academic requirements they have to be a good citizen they have to be a good student on campus the dream team is full of many great leaders and we all strive to show other people how they can also be deleted our community who is a great place to work and learn I'm proud to be here as the principal proud to serve this community and look forward to all of the things that we can do together to continue to make is high school the best place that it can be
