Viking Weekly Announcements

This will be your last Sunday message for this school year.  Our office is open all summer from 7:30 am to 4 pm.  If you have questions please contact the office.  Exams continue this week.  The exam schedule is linked in your weekly email.  Any student who plans to check out after all morning exams are finished, must bring a handwritten note.  This includes student drivers and car riders. 

Thursday, June 4th is an early release day.  School will get out at 1 pm. 

Seniors will receive their graduation tickets during required practice on June 3rd at 4pm at the John A. Walker Center.  Seniors that do not attend will not receive their tickets.  Tickets are required to get into graduation, no exceptions.  Even small children must have a ticket.  Those who do not have a ticket will not be allowed to enter.  We will be live streaming the ceremony and we will share that information via Facebook before the ceremony begins.  Any Senior who still owes fees must have those paid prior to graduation.  If you have questions about fees please contact the front office.

As we continue EOC testing, we look forward to sharing your students' academic growth on their exams.  Our students at North Wilkes have led Wilkes County Schools in student academic growth the last four years.  Along with finishing very high in the state compared to all other schools.  We truly believe in our mission that Vikings Strive for Excellence, Exceed Expectations, and Lead by Example.  Let’s continue to work hard and lead academically in our county.
