Welding Club
The Welding Club is an initiative of senior Eli Dancy whose desire is to make more students aware of the welding classes offered at North Wilkes. The club meets every Wednesday during Smart Lunch B in the welding shop. Club membership is open to any student at North Wilkes and current members include students who are in welding classes now and others who will enroll in the spring semester. The Welding Club's adviser is WCC instructor Ray Kennedy. Through CCP classes offered at the high school, students have the opportunity to earn college credits toward completion in certificates and diplomas in Welding Technology.
